AP1 (1999-2003)

Problem: Why is my carpet always moving around? (MY00 only)
Solution: Service Bulletin

Problem: Oil cossumption
Solution: Using Mobile 1? Try a different oil.
Solution 2: Early AP1 (1999-2003) have a reputation of burning oil in vtec.
Solution 3: Some owners have said that a catch can/different pcv valve fixed the issue.

Problem: Buzzing from the transmission while decelerating (MY00-01, early MY02)
Solution: Service Bulletin
Solution 2: If you don't mind the noise, leave it as is. It won't cause damage...

Problem: Rear window is creased, clouded or scratched (MY00-01 only)
Solution: Cleaning service bulletin;
Replacement: Rear window replacement service bulletin
Upgrade to glass window: Topsonline

Problem: Grinding when shifting into second gear
Solution: Service Bulletin

Problem: Rattle when in neutral / no more rattle when clutch is pressed
Solution: Several AP1 owners have reported this

Problem: While doing a valve adjustment i've noticed cracked retainers
Solution: Parts needed for AP2 retainers (they're better)

AP2 (2004-2009)

Problem: Gear lever pops out of 2nd, 4th or 6th gear
Solution: Replace the countershaft 1st gear and the 2nd gear set. Service Bulletin

Problem: CEL P1172 and/or P2A00 (MY06+)
Solution: Go to the dealer to update the ECM/PMC PGM-FI software. Replace the air/fuel sensor. Service Bulletin

Problem: Convertible top is torn at the lock handle and/or the right rear (MY05+)
Solution: Soft top TSB

ALL (1999-2009)

Problem: Ride height is not the same everywhere -- Weird handling
Solution: You may still have the spring spacers (Used during shipment, many have been forgotten)

Problem: Intermittent hesitation during hard acceleration (MY00-05)
Solution: Service Bulletin

Problem: Car didn't start on first try after a spinning out and stalling
Solution: Several owners have reported this problem, just start it again

Problem: Grinding when shifting gear
Solution: Replace transmission oil with the new formula of MTF

Problem: Transmission is hard to shift when cold
Solution: This is normal, all owners report this.

euhm! ceux qui roulais vraiment open box aime sa le heat soak lol!

j'ai faite mon changement de fluid aujourd'hui et un petit conseil acheter pas la pump qui ce vise direct sur la pinte comme dans le DIY plus sa vaux pas une cent sa prend environ 5-6 minute par peinte coucher a terre sur le plancher du garage ont dirais cé interminable ont dirais que tu pompe rien il a pas assé de ¨Stroke¨ apres la pompe si ont veux et les tuyaux vraiment trop petit je vous conseillerais ce genre de pompe



elle est 10$ de plus ce qui veux dire 21.99$ mais maintenant je regrette savoir fais mon gratte-cent !!!
